Joules Celebrates 30 years with Limited Edition Anniversary Collection
This year, contemporary British lifestyle brand Joules is celebrating 30 years of delivering fun, quality clothing for families and friends to make lasting memories together. To commemorate this milestone, the brand is launching a limited-edition anniversary collection for the whole family, and their home!
The Joules story began in 1989 when Tom Joule started selling clothing on a stand at a country show in Leicestershire. Tom would constantly brave the elements in pursuit of delivering traditional clothing with a twist. These early days, facing driving rain and howling winds, made the Joules team experts in outwitting the weather and made sure an adventurous spirit is woven throughout everything created by the brand.
Joules has become renowned for its original, unique prints that are hand-drawn or hand-painted in-house and are used to great effect on anything from rainwear and crockery to clothing and accessories. Joules’ in-house artists constantly draw inspiration from the great British countryside and coastline, injecting a dose of personality and unique hidden details along the way to create its bright and contemporary collections.
Inspired by iconic floral prints, classic colour palettes and hero pieces from across the years, Joules has created a celebratory collection that truly showcases its authentic heritage and the strong values which have continuously driven the brand forward.
The Joules 30th Anniversary collection showcases the archive hand-drawn Cambridge Floral print. This much-loved design has been revived with a fresh twist and can be found alongside the Joules 30th Anniversary Crest gracing a range of Joules-favourites old and new. This includes the best-selling Harbour Breton top, Riviera Dress, Atmore scarves and of course, the very thing that made Joules stand out from the beginning, wellies! The Cambridge Anniversary Floral can also be found enhancing a range of homeware including radios, tea towels and mugs, as well as a selection of menswear, childrenswear, babywear and small accessories.
To further the celebrations, Joules is also running a year-long photo competition. Centred around the moments that shaped the Joules brand, the ‘Making Memories’ competition focuses on a new theme each month and encourages entrants to share photos of themselves connecting with life’s happy feelings and embracing quality time with the people that matter to them. Each monthly winner receives a family getaway with Holiday Cottages worth £1,00 and £500 in Joules vouchers.
